Saint-Estèphe.

47% Cabernet Sauvingnon; 46% Merlot; 1% Cabernet Franc; 6% Petit Verdot.

Château Le Boscq, located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux, is renowned for its rich history and high-quality wines. Established in the 18th century and now owned by the Dourthe family since 1995, this estate has consistently produced exceptional wines. The vineyard spans 20 hectares, with an average vine age of 22 years. The terroir is characterized by high and deep gravel hillocks mixed with clay, providing an ideal environment for growing its grape varieties.

James Suckling: 92-93/100
Very St.-Estephe with dark berry, mineral and fresh clove character. Medium body and firm tannins that follow through. Shows potential.

Antonio Galloni - Vinous: 90-92/100
From the very north of Saint-Estèphe, the 2023 Le Boscq is bright, focused and full of character. Blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, dried herbs and incense are some of the notes that grace this understated Bordeaux. A healthy dollop (6%) of Petit Verdot adds a spicy character that is especially evident on the persistent finish.
